Marioni Going to Pachuca
By: Alan |It’s official, Marioni has sold his soul to the devil, I mean Pachuca.
The deal was announced yesterday and although the full terms haven’t been outlined, Atlas is expecting to receive either one or more players or some of the money that Atlas paid Boca Juniors to get Marioni in the first place.
Marioni Out of Atlas
By: Alan |President Fernando Acosta said that the team is sad at not being able to reach an agreement with forward Bruno Marioni. Acosta said that for their part the team offered a 33% increase in pay, but that unfortunately it didn’t match the offers that Marioni has received from elsewhere.
Players Leaving Atlas
By: Alan |Keeper Mario Rodriguez and midfielder Roberto Vargas are the first players to be leaving Atlas during the off season. Both players were on loan, Rodriguez from Tecos and Vargas from Monarcas.

By: Alan |It’s been a few days since my last post and there a couple of reasons, the biggest is that I was moving from school back home, and I’ve been busy packing and unpacking. More importantly I haven’t been able to write Atlas’ sad story in the Libertadores.

Atlas Advances to Liguilla
By: Alan | Atlas’ 2-0 win over Cruz Azul helped them move on to the Mexican tournament. With the final game of the regular season done, Atlas advanced to the liguilla right above Pachuca.
They will play in the run-off game against Necaxa for a spot in the championship tournament.
