10 Things You Didn’t Know About Luis Robles

By: Alan | March 18th, 2009

This time it’s el Macue’s turn to share the top 10 things you probably didn’t know about him.

  1. He’s a big fan of Jackie Chan, in particular Rush Hour 3
  2. He’s a fan of hip-hop even though he doesn’t always agree with the lyrics
  3. When he was a kid he rode his bike all the way to his dad’s job thinking they’d be impressed, instead all he got was a good old fashioned Mexican regañada
  4. His biggest hero is his dad
  5. During his early days with Atlas he once got lost in the streets of Guadalajara
  6. As a child he managed to lose a herd of cows and then spent two days rounding them up
  7. He once broke a window at the clubhouse and then used Styrofoam board to plug the hole but when it was really cold rats would eat through the board so he was forced to hunt the rats down
  8. Growing up he had to wake up early to feed the cows, however, he was rewarded with first dibs on pajarete
  9. He learned how to drive on a tractor on his father’s farm
  10. When he was younger he would play football with his brothers indoors, and if they ever broke anything they all had to scatter because his mom would throw wooden spoons at them

I’m From Amacueca Jal the place where Macue is from. I now live in the U.S and I’m really proud of what Luis has accomplished. This section brought memories of how the pueblo used to be. Keep it going Luis.
