Atlas 3 – 1 Indios

I think the team is getting the hang of La Volpe’s directions. Although in Indios Atlas played a team fighting relegation, they still showed that they have a more structured defense and a more imaginative offense.
On top of that Atlas’ victory came not only with three goals but three great goals. Achucarro started things off in the 6th minute with a goal that bounced from the top cross bar and just managed to sneak inside the line.
After that Indios’ reply came on a somewhat controversial allowance of an offside position.
In the second half Botinelli scored from a free kick and Pacheco had a moment of brilliance in the 67th minute and scored from what seemed to be an impossible angle.
Pacheco has been on fire as of late and I’m sure La Volpe has noticed. Next week is a big game against city rivals Chivas.
