Atlas Going to Manchester

Atlas beat Chivas 4-1 and won the right to represent Mexico in Manchester United’s Premier Cup 09. The 09 tournament will be the third that Atlas participates in as the Mexican representative.
Atlas beat out América, Monterey, and Chivas for the right to represent Mexico amongst teams representing the US, Chile, Brazil, Spain, and other countries.
The U-15 Atlas team that won the right to travel to England was made up of:
Goalies: Héctor Lomelí and Juan Perusquia.
Defendors: Luis Guzmán, Antonio Briseño, Diego Ortega, Emmanuel Aguirre, José Velázquez, and Erik de la Cruz.
Midfielders: José Caballero, Jonathan Esparza, Ángel Gaspar, Arturo González, and Alan Jaramillo.
Forwards: Juan Celada, Daniel Hernández, and Huber López.
Coach: Miguel Ángel Orozco Soto.
Assistant Coach: David de la Torre.
