Great Start

No Marioni, no Medina, no problem.
Atlas won their week 1 game against Jaguares de Chiapas with a resounding 5-0. It seemed that Atlas did not need a lot of time to get accustomed to the new lineup, or the new squad, Atlas came out of the gate as if they were still continuing last season.
Atlas started the scoring early by way of Diego Colotto at the 8th, then followed with Gonzalo Vargas at the 15th, he would later score in the 90th, also in the first half was Ariel Bogado’s goal in the 16th minute, and then he would also score later on in the 47th.
The second half also saw el Bofo Bautista expelled at the 57th minute.
The man of the match honors has to go to Bogado, who scored twice and is one of the new acquisitions. What a way to get the fans on your side, score two in the opener.
I’m hoping he’ll keep this up for next week as Atlas will host Cruz Azul.
Lineup:
Pedro Hernández, Diego COlotto, Omar Flores, Néstor Vidrio (Ulises MendÃvil 82’), Alfredo Sánchez (Amon. 18’, Gerardo Flores 72’), Luis Robles, Christian Valdez, Eduardo Rergis, DarÃo Bottinelli (Amon. 21’), Gonzalo Vargas, Ariel Bogado (Mauricio Romero 65’).
