Osorno Back Home

By: Alan | June 10th, 2009

It’s official, yesterday Daniel Osorno reported to Atlas’ training grounds. Osorno comes to Atlas from Puebla but is an old school Atlas player who is returning home.

Osorno was up and training two hours after arriving to the grounds proving that he’s here at Atlas to work and not just retire as an Atlas player. Osorno looked motivated, experienced, and ready to give 100% to his teammates.

“I think that the fans are happy. I don’t have anything to prove, not to fans, not to anyone. To me its important to return home and the only thing that I want is to transcend with the team that has given me everything.”

I don’t know about that first part, it seems that the fans are split between being excited for the return of Danny Boy and the fact that a rather mature player was signed.
