Preview: Atlas vs. Necaxa

By: Alan | April 3rd, 2008

Atlas vs. Necaxa - Week 13 Tomorrow Atlas will host Necaxa in their week 13 game of the Mexican tournament.

Necaxa is motivated due to having enied Chivas’ unbeaten streak, and ruining Omar Bravo’s chance for his 100th goal. Atlas also had a victory in their last game, thanks to a beautiful mid range shot by “El Macue” Robles. This game has all the elements to be a good game.

Atlas might be able to count on Ulises Mendivil who will start the game from the bench, having recovered from his injury in the game against UM Maracaibo. Necaxa will not be able to count on Ãngel Reyna, who is one of their best midfielders. Both teams have 16 points in the tournament, but Necaxa has a higher goal differential. However, while Atlas holds the second position in group 2, Necaxa is fourth in the 3rd group.

My Prediction: Atlas 2 - 2 Necaxa
FIFA 08 Prediction: Atlas 3 - 3 Necaxa
