It’s been a few days since my last post and there a couple of reasons, the biggest is that I was moving from school back home, and I’ve been busy packing and unpacking. More importantly I haven’t been able to write Atlas’ sad story in the Libertadores.
Although it’s old news now, Atlas’ last game of the season was a loss at home to Boca Juniors. The game was disappointing for many reasons: Atlas lost at home, Atlas allowed a hat trick, and Atlas saw their keeper expelled.
There can be no excuses, Atlas was outplayed for the entire match, and after the first goal went in against them they got desperate, a fact that can be seen in the expulsion of the keeper.
However, although the season is over the news is not, so stay tuned to this space for news about players, coaches, and maybe an irrelevant story or two.
